Important Note: Minor Waivers for Events
If you're a minor, or the parent/guardian of a
minor, be sure to prepare yourself for the season (club
racing and solo II) by completing your waiver forms.
(Must be completed by the parent/guardian). If you
intend to have a minor racing or in "hot" areas of the
event, you will need to have completed these waivers that
usually require two parental/guardian signatures.

that I made an error.

Event 5 Results are in! - 6/19/2007
Event 5 went off without a hitch, mostly. The weather
could have been a bit cooler, and maybe there could have
been one or two fewer slalom cones, or ten, but other than
that, hope everyone had a good event, and if you're lucky,
you still have some right side tires left!
Results
Nice showing from Ryan Tone! A little alignment
goes a long way! And to quote Mike Whitney, "if you
think the course was too tight, a guy driving an f-body got
990 points." Not that I know who that driver may have
been....

5/9/2007
For all who braved the torment of the wind, not many
survived the torment of a certain C-Stock Miata. We
had a few new faces and some folks who hadn't run in years.
It was good to have you... and it was good to have more
f-bodies around for once! Mike Whitney took 1st in
soloist points, followed by Bill Porter and Cindyann
Whitney. Randy Crouch snagged the top spot in street
tire. Full Results

First Solo Event Wraps Up and the
results are online!!! - 4/18/2007
The weather went from decent and sunny to breezy, sunny,
cool back to decent and sunny, but overall, it was a pretty
good day for autocrossing in April in this part of the
country!!! Glad everyone came out and it was good to
see the new faces... hope to see all of you back again!
Someone's going to have to figure that Whitney character out
though.... It appears last year's GRR Soloist of the
Year has picked up where he left off!
Event 1 results here.
Top 5 finishers in Soloist points for Event 1: M. Whitney,
B. Porter, S. Shumard, E. Kuhns, R. Crouch. Kuhns also

2007 GCR Now Available on SCCA.com
TOPEKA,
Kan. (Nov. 14, 2006) –
The 2007 Sports Car Club of
America General Competition Rulebook (GCR) is now available
for download from the SCCA website and will be available in
hardcopy shortly.
In addition to being
outfitted with rules for the new Prepared classes and
updated Formula, Touring and Improved Touring classes, the
2007 GCR has undergone an extensive review to provide
competitors with clear, concise regulations in an
easy-to-follow format.
“The book is added to and
subtracted from each year,” SCCA Technical Services Manager
Jeremy Thoennes said. “After years of this practice, we
ended up with duplicate language or in some cases
conflicting language in various sections. The
reorganization involved a review of each paragraph; moving
similar sections together and resolving any conflicts. The
result is a book with better structure and flow, making it
easier to find what you are looking for.”
The 2007 GCR can currently
be found in PDF format on the SCCA Web site. Hard copies
will be mailed to all licensed SCCA drivers shortly before
the New Year. The 2007 GCR is available at
http://www.scca.com/Club/Index.asp?reference=gcr
