Stop me if you've heard this one...It rained...At the GRR autocross... Despite the heavy rain showers during the drivers meeting (right after we cleared the lot of large puddles from the showers the night before) we had a great time! The first two heats were a little damp but, the last two were pretty dry and made for some great lap times. Jason Green was the fastest driver Saturday with a 49.830 raw time, great job Jason! A big thank you to Adam Moore for Event Chair duties and to all the members, racers, volunteers and everyone who came out to watch! A special thank you to the Rock Island Arsenal for graciously allowing the Great River Region the opportunity to use their facility again. See you at the next event!
It was another rainy Solo event for GRR! Everyone had a ton of fun in spite of very soggy conditions. A huge thank you to all the members, racers and especially the workers that made this a great event! GRR branded rain ponchos will be available for purchase if the weather doesn't start cooperating... See you at the next Solo event!
